Women's Rowing

Over recent years the Runcorn women's squad has expanded significantly!

We are a diverse group of about 40 women; our ages currently range from 16 to 65. The group comprises senior and masters aged women of all abilities.

There are both competitive and recreational rowers within the group; we race at a variety of events all year round and have had recent success at both local and national level. Our squad includes scullers and sweep rowers, most of us do both.

The aims of the squad are to be inclusive, to enjoy ourselves and to achieve at all levels. If you are interested in joining the Women's Squad or would like to know more about us, please contact the women's captain at vicecaptainwomen@runcornrowing.com.

We run four regular sessions of training per week, all year round. All women in the club are welcome to attend any or all sessions and there are further opportunities for training throughout the week for those who are interested.
