Spring Eights Head

Runcorn's eights head is rowed on the lower reaches of the River Weaver in Cheshire.

In 2012 it will be on the 25th February. There's a link below to the poster.

No other river traffic, very little stream, little driftwood and great racing.

New last year:

• 3 times the boating provision
• Senior and Novice Fours & quads
• Ideal training and preparation for the Tideway (3 weeks before)
• Incorporates the Christie Cup between Leeds, Liverpool & Manchester Universities
  
  

6,000m on the River Weaver from Pickering’s Lock to Sutton Weaver.
