Personal Development
- Everyone needs to contribute as much as you can to
be involved in the rewarding success of club success.
- Doing the best
that you can in the boat can be combined with the admin, coaching,
administrative, social and specialist roles.
Training demands:
- Elite means aiming to
do something physical 6+ days a week.
- Competitive means 4 – 6 sessions
a week. Almost competitive is 2 – 4 sessions.
- Recreational is irregular
training averaging about 2 sessions per week.
- The difficulty is
that everyone will consider “hard training” to be a different thing.
Then, an elite physiological athlete with rubbish technique is not
elite. So, assessment of ability on ergos, and then by boat assessment
is needed.
